CCC From the President ….
Please notice the posted schedule for the CCC Finals Show. Due to the number of entries we have been
experiencing we have decided to go to this format for the finals. This should help us to get done earlier on
Saturday so that we can all attend the banquet without the rush of last year. (More on the banquet later)
I would also like to let everyone know that due to the large shows we have had this year, the amount of cattle that
we have already used and the fact that most of the yearlings in the area will have been shipped there is a
possibility that we will have to use Holsteins for the September show. We are working hard to try to at least have
beef cattle for the 3 year olds.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the CCC Board, the Officers, our great show secretary Sue and
our wonderful announcer/newsletter editor Bev plus everyone else who worked so hard this season to make our
shows so incredibly successful. It would not have been possible without all of you. By the way Bev, I have not
accepted your resignation from the newsletter. If you will stay we need you and appreciate all of your hard work.

A note from Sue: Jack doesn't think assistant show secretary is any fun so he's reclaiming his cell phone! The
phone number of 509-837-7232 is the number to use up to entry closing time. After that, please use 509-840-
5547 (discontinue using Jack's cell of 840-3078). Also, Bob left a very important person out of his thanks
above..............himself!. He has had quite a bit going on this year and still takes care of us (he has the patience of
Job putting up with my endless questions!). THANKS BOB - we love you and wouldn't want to do it without you!!!
